Chiara Marinai is an Experimental Design Master candidate in Basel, Switzerland, researching ways design affects our social, political, environmental culture and history, and merging conceptual conversations and physical artifacts.
Formerly a Senior Visuals Editor at Vanity
Fair magazine, she produced photo and video content for print and digital. She lead visuals for VF.com and oversaw creative concepts for the awards season circuit, special awards issues, and branded tentpole events, including the annual Oscar party.
Chiara studied fine arts and photography and continues to make images. She is particularly interested in observing the design dynamic between humans and nature and it’s forever entanglement with control and power.
